ARCHES NATIONAL PARK, UTAH. October 25, 2018. We arrived early in the afternoon, and settled in the little town of Moab, just a few miles south of the National Park. We took advantage of our early arrival, to visit the Information Centre, at the parks entrance, to plan our visit there, and drive through the park to get an idea of the area. It was our very first visit there, and yes, "10 out of 10" the Arches stole the show. It was only on our third day there, that we attempted to hike, climb, and explore the edges of the canyons, to discover and view natures wonderful piece of work, the "Arches". It actually took me a good two days to finally get used to the elevation there, (5,653 feet altitude). Little did I know, but I soon discovered, having traveled at high elevation on the Colorado plateau for the last two days, that I suffer from mild mountain sickness. Yes, we did have to climb, and walk on the edges of some of those rocks, you will view in my photos, to get to some of these beautiful and magnificent "Arches". It was all worth it.
