PENTICTON, KELOWNA, BC. October 15, 2018
Penticton, the last Okanagan City we enjoyed on our Canadian Tour. We camped right off the Skaha Lake, conveniently located on the south side of the city, close to all amenities and foremost, just a few minutes away from our beloved friends, Bonnie and Ward Madge, a lovely couple we met in Panama almost two years ago, who spoiled us with their warm BC hospitality.
Interestingly, the local airport YYF, has its landing strip, right off the campground beach, very similar, but not as dramatic as to the Saint Martin airport in the BVI 's. I have managed to capture photos to share, of one of the few flights landing during our stay.
In this blog I have also include a few of my favourite photos taken in near by communities, where we have traveled to and from during our stay. Kelowna, Summerland and Okanagan Falls.
We were very fortunate to have had excellent warm fall weather during our last week there, and the chance to experience falls last gift of Canadian colours.
A FEW PHOTOS TAKEN WITH MY FRIEND, WALKING THE STREETS OF SUMMERLAND.
PHOTOS TAKEN ON A BEAUTIFUL MORNING, TRAVELLING BETWEEN OLIVER, OKANAGAN FALLS, AND PENTICTON.
OUR LAST NIGHT BY SKAHA LAKE, BEFORE OUR MIGRATION SOUTH FOR THE WINTER.
