December 12, 2014 (late entry)
Destination Panama.
As I am reflecting on the last 2 days, I came to the realization, that trying to blog when in transit can be a very challenging thing. Wifi is so overrated. Slow internet, and travelling schedules don't go very well together. My plan of attack, write as I go, post when I can.
Yesterday, was Campbellton, Quebec City in less than favourable weather. As the morning progressed the highway became bare and we made it safely, without any road closures as many travellers experienced yesterday, compliments of a good old winter storm in most parts or Eastern Canada, that lasted 36 hours. Kind of hard to do any photography in freezing rain, blowing snow. Oh well!
We had a very nice evening in Quebec, had dinner at the "Cochon Dingue". A restaurant I would recommend for its unique culinary experience and menu.
This is the third and last leg of this trip. Final destination, Panama. More specifically, Playa Blanca, located on the Pacific Ocean, two hours or so away from Panama City.
We travelled with Sunwing, on a Boeing 737, full of very happy passengers. Flight duration, 5 and half hours. Temperature on arrival, 29c that feels more like 32.
Highlight of the day...a beach party. Wow, people of South America sure can danse. Even learned a few steps.
