December 9th, 2014.
What a nice day to start blogging. Nothing inspires me more than travelling. Could be by plane, train or automobile. Could even be by boat. Near or far, it does not matter. I am travelling.
Today is the beginning of a very exiting journey. Our final destination? I will keep you guessing.
We are actually one day ahead on this leg of the trip, compliments of a good old Nor'easter. For those who are not from the Atlantic Coast, a Nor'easter is a storm event that can be pretty bad for us in the fall or winter.
First stop, Campbellton NB. We will remain there as 40 to 50 cm of snow is expected, starting tonight through the day tomorrow.
Campbellton is a very scenic area. Were the Baie des Chaleurs becomes the beautiful Restigouche River at the mouth of the picturesque Matapedia Valley, all nested in the arms of the Appalachians. I will try to get out there to takes a few photos...after the storm.
Welcome to my Blog, I think of it as a shoe box. Were else would you throw in all your pictures, post cards, letters and all the sea shells and souvenirs you collected a long the way. At least this one will be shared with whom is interested.
I am Spreading my Wings. All of this is the result of the positive feed back received from friends and family in the last year for my postings on FaceBook.
This is indeed a very exiting time for me. My blog was created a few weeks ago. The original plan was to launch it January 1st, but here it is. Enjoy!
Stay posted, may your day be filled with love and laughter.
Diane
